The purpose of the Washington Long-Term Care (LTC) Ombudsman Program’s Consumer Advocacy Outreach is to advance consumer healthcare education and to empower older adults and their family members to make informed long-term care decisions.

 

"The overall purpose of the ombudsman program is to promote the interests, well-being, and rights of long-term care facility residents." 

(Washington Administrative Code: WAC 365-18-010)
